How to install Adobe Acrobat Pro
Requirements
To download and install Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes Acrobat Pro, you must have a Windows computer.
Troubleshooting
If there is an issue with installing Creative Cloud, restart your computer and attempt the installation again. If the issue persists, email support@ycschools.org.
Downloading and installing
Open Software Center by searching for Software Center using Windows Search. Software Center will load for several minutes.
After waiting for a few minutes, several downloadable applications will appear. Search for Adobe Creative Cloud using the search bar in the top right corner. If Creative Cloud does not show up after searching, email support@ycschools.org.
Select Creative Cloud, and install. Installing will possibly take 5-10 minutes, do not attempt to close, restart, or stop the installation. If Adobe Creative Cloud is stuck at 0% installation, please restart your computer (Windows icon bottom left, power icon, Restart) and try again at a different time.
Once installed, search for Creative Cloud on your computer by using Windows Search.
After opening Creative Cloud, it will attempt to update. Once again, this can take up to and possibly beyond 10 minutes to complete. Creative Cloud will close itself and auto-restart. After Creative Cloud opens again, select Continue with Google.
After the update has completed, you will be greeted with the Adobe Creative Cloud dashboard. Here you will see all of the applications available for download. I strongly recommend only downloading the necessary apps, as excess will cause storage and slow-down issues on your computer. Highlighted is Adobe Acrobat Pro.
After clicking install on an application, it will begin to download and install. This can take several minutes. After installation, the app will now show the option to Open. Your downloaded applications will be listed on the right side of the Creative Cloud dashboard.
